Pixel is an organization focused on touching people through new and emerging immersive art, technology and design and how it relates to social interaction. Through exhibitions, talks, workshops, interviews, collaborations and events, Pixel's main objective is to bring you content from those who are blazing a path in the immersive art and design field today.

FITC is a Canadian company that produces engaging design and technology events that inspire, educate and challenge the best new media designers and developers from around the globe. Established in 2002 by new media guru and entrepreneur Shawn Pucknell, the company has held successful events across both Canada and the United States and is expanding overseas. FITC has left its mark in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Hollywood, Chicago, England and soon Tokyo and Amsterdam.

Our mission is to educate designers, developers and marketers in the rich media industry about the capabilities, software tools, best practices and technologies for the professional creation of digital media. Rich media technologies and software have redefined business, entertainment, and personal communications. Our goal is to train developers to produce and deliver content that engages people anywhere at anytime. We constantly push the boundaries of the digital universe. As an institute we provide leadership in software education. We recognize and celebrate excellence in digital media development. RMI started with its first location in Los Angeles, and the Toronto location is its second.

FOUNDATION is a creative hub that specializes in multi-media design and composition, with versatility on its variety of practices. Through inventive ideas and the use of electronic media technology, FOUNDATION Creative Studio communicates an effectual message with an imaginative approach. Launched in June 2003 and operating from Toronto, Canada, Foundation consists of a talented team that specializes in various forms of creative multimedia, be it relating to audio, visual, spatial installations, events and new initiative promotions, or just modestly good ideas. With extensive backgrounds as new mixed-media artists, it is within our interest to take upon the next task connecting entertaining approaches with effective deliverances to our creative-enthused generation.

Beside is the online media showcase of award-winning designer, developer and digital artist Bram Timmer. Bram applies his creativity and expertise across a variety of media, including: web design and development; e-learning and interactive media; print media; information architecture; and lastly, illustration. Bram’s past and present clients include commercial, financial and government institutions of all sizes, including Nivea, MasterCard, SC Johnson, CTV, Kraft, Hershey, Applebee's, TELUS, EnCana Corporation, the University of Calgary, Meridian Credit Union, Kahn Consulting, Inc., FITC, amongst others.

In June of 2001, a few flash developers got together to talk shop. From that small get-together, many things have transpired; a website, a lecture series, and Canada’s first ever Flash festival. This user group was initiated based on a need…a need to build a strong community and industry. It is a celebration of Canada’s new media talent. We will no longer need to work in a vacuum…we will have fellow Flash developers and designers to talk to, to learn from, to ‘interact’ with. And through that, our work, and the industry, will evolve and grow into a thriving, vibrant one…one that we are all proud of.
